I had the amazing opportunity of being present for little Danielle's birth this past October. To me, this is the best kind of newborn photography, where you have a sense of how it feels to see and hold that child for the first time. Attending a birth is unforgettable, but I hope to be able to do again one day. A big thank-you to Andrew and Keli-Lyn for having me there.

What a terrific summer it's been so far! We have enjoying getting to know so many wonderful people and had a chance to work with the best clients anyone could ask for.

It's coming closer!

As many of you know, I've been given an incredible opportunity to travel to Palestine/Israel this April with a charitable organization called MCC. It's a trip I'm very much looking forward to, the idea of traveling and supporting a good cause at the same time is exciting.
The plans for the trip are slowly coming together with a couple more people joining us just yesterday, so it looks like we'll be group of 12. The main purpose of the trip is to gain some first hand knowledge of the area and what MCC is working so hard to accomplish, mainly, bringing peace to the people. We will then be bringing that information back with us and sharing it with you in hopes that more people will become aware of MCC's cause and do what they can to help.
Some wonderful and generous folks have already made donations toward the trip, and I'm so grateful to them. I'm still looking at a shortfall of about $1500-$2000, and I'm putting the word out there that if you're interested in helping out, I'd very much appreciate the support. All donations (minimun of $20) will receive a tax receipt and I'm also throwing in a free photo session for any donations of at least $100.

Preparing to go to Israel!

For those wondering about the trip to Israel, here's what's going on. I've been given an incredible opportunity to go with an organization called MCC, you can check them out at http://mcc.org/ A group of about 13 of us will be leaving in early April and spending 10 days in Israel and Palestine. We'll be touring the area and also learning about the issues going on with the 2 sides. You can find more information on the web site about this learning tour.
I am looking to do some fund raising for the trip, so any donations will get a tax receipt (minimum $20) and I'm also throwing in a free photo session for any donations over $100.
I'm really excited about this trip and would appreciate your prayers and support.
